A New Chapter for DIVA: Meet Our Team and Board
I am incredibly proud to introduce the people bringing their experience, creativity, and commitment to DIVA Charitable Trust and DIVA magazine.
DIVA Charitable Trust exists to advance the visibility, wellbeing and equality of LGBTQIA+ women and non-binary people. That mission matters because invisibility has consequences.
When our communities are absent from the media, overlooked in research, excluded from decision-making or disconnected from the support they need, their lives and experiences are too easily ignored.
Representation must be more than symbolic. It is about being seen, heard, and valued and having meaningful opportunities to influence the narratives, decisions, and systems that shape our lives.
Our work will focus on making people, lives and experiences more visible; generating greater understanding; connecting communities and building solidarity; and strengthening our collective influence and power.
I am honoured to advance that work alongside our team:
• Roxy Bourdillony Bourdillon — Editor-in-Chief of DIVA magazine
• Nic Crosara — Deputy Editor of DIVA magazine
• Jo Atkins-Potts— Strategic Lead
• Ella Gauci — Staff Writer and Social Media Manager
• Timon Timon — Administrator and PA to the Chief Executive
Each person brings vital experience, creativity and commitment to this next phase. Together, we will strengthen DIVA’s impact, create space for the breadth of our communities and ensure LGBTQIA+ women and non-binary people remain visible in all our complexity.
This work is supported by a Board bringing a wealth of experience, knowledge and perspective:
- Moud Goba — Chair
• Kit Morey — Trustee
• Fiona Marshall — Trustee
• Linda Riley — Chair Emeritus
Their leadership will help us think ambitiously about DIVA’s future while remaining accountable to the communities we serve and the purpose at the heart of our work.
As Executive Director, I am excited about what we will build together, protecting DIVA’s legacy while moving boldly into its future.
Please join me in welcoming and celebrating our team and Board.
There is important work ahead and so much more to come.
We are ready. 🖤🌈
